Obituary for Bernice M. Van Splunder
Bernice M. Van Splunder of East Otto, NY passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo at the age of 87.
She was born May 26, 1935 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Joseph and Lavina Keller. She was a homemaker and member of the East Otto United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold "Sonny" Van Splunder who she married on April 30, 1960; her son, Larry Van Splunder of East Otto; her grandson, Peter Van Splunder; her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Betty Lou Nanovsky of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children: Steven Harold and Jill Van Splunder; her sister, Arlene Gross.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 12pm - 6pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville where a Funeral Service will be held at 6pm.
