Obituary for Casimer D. Czerwinski
Casimer D. Czerwinski of Machias, NY passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at HighPointe on Michigan in Buffalo at the age of 90.
He was born August 29, 1931 in Holland, NY a son of the late Stanley and Stella (Konopa) Czerwinski. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in West Valley and was a United States Korean War Veteran. He also enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing horseshoes.
He had worked as a carpenter for Koerner Construction in Holland and had worked in Custodial care at West Valley Central School.
His wife, Rita (Gentner) Czerwinski whom he married August 30, 1957, passed away on March 23, 2021.
He is survived by his son, James (Terri) Czerwinski of Delevan; his grandson, Tyler Bowen of West Seneca, his great-grandson, Gabriel; his daughter-in-law, Lisa Bowen of West Seneca as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Czerwinski who passed away in 1989; his siblings: Steve, Vick, Lenny, Chet, Terry, Fran, Sophie, Viola, June, Gertrude and Cecilia.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in West Valley.
