Obituary for David E. Boberg
David E. Boberg, of Springville, NY passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his residence at the age of 82.
He was born February 20, 1941 in Little Valley, NY a son of the late Erwin and Irene (Brown) Boberg.
He worked at Lamb & Webster of Springville for 47 years as the service manager. He retired in 2007.
Dave was a talented carpenter and made many things for family and friends. He enjoyed being with family and loved them so much. He also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Springville.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Paschen) Boberg, whom he married June 12, 1965; his children: Debra (Rick) Hill of Corfu, NY, Duane (Kim) Boberg of Springville, and Dawn (Chris) Van Berkel; his grandchildren: Scott, Joseph, Adam, Daniel Hill, Dylan and Jonathan Boberg, Ethan and Caitlin Van Berkel. In addition to six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: John and Richard Boberg, Alice Froelich and Joyce Kaslaitis.
Friends may call Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 10-11am for memorial calling hours at the Salem Lutheran Church, 91 West Main Street, Springville, NY where a memorial service will follow at 11am with Rev. Eric Goodwin officiating. Burial will be held in the Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Boulevard, Buffalo, NY 14227-1480.
