Obituary for Dee W. Pierce
Dee W. Pierce of Springville, NY passed away January 1, 2023 at the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home at the age of 87.
He was born May 29, 1935 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late DeWillingford and Alice (Moore) Pierce.
Dee worked for the NFTA Metro Bus system in Buffalo, NY.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Springville. He also served in the Army National Guard.
Dee enjoyed riding a bike, doing puzzles, and being outdoors. You could often find him at the coffee group at the church that he loved so much.
He is survived by his loving wife - Gail (Wilson) Pierce, whom he married in Humphrey, NY on October 17, 1959; his children: Dean (Sandra) Pierce of Hunt, NY, and Janet Marie Rammacher of Hamburg, NY; his sister-in-law - Violet Pierce of Littleton, CO; his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to several nieces and nephews.
Dee is preceded in death by his parents, and brother - Donald Pierce.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10am at the Springville First Presbyterian Church. Final interment will take place in Fairview Cemetery.
