Obituary for Dolores E. Lux
Dolores E. (Hemmerling) Lux of West Valley passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 in her residence at the age of 92.
She was born August 19, 1929 in Alexander, NY a daughter of the late Stanley and Stella (Filary) Hemmerling. She was a machine operator and assistant supervisor for Fisher Price in Holland. She was also a member of St. John's Church in West Valley.
She is survived by her children: Rick (Nancy) Lux of Blasdell, Bob (Linda) Lux of West Valley, Kathy (Dave) Robertson of Salisbury, NC, Tom (Sue Walenka) Lux of DeLand, FL, Judy Lux of Blasdell, Brian (Sheila) Lux of West Valley, and Jeff (Lorrie) Lux of Chester, WV; sisters, Rita Folts of Springville, and Gertrude Feldman of West Valley; as well as 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lux, whom she married August 11, 1949 in Springville, and he passed away in 2017. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Henry Hemmerling, Alfred Hemmerling, Dorothy Nowak, Bernice Redden, Genevieve Jacobs, Leona Seider, and Albert Hemmerling; and grandson, Benjamin Lux.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date with final interment taking place in St. John's Cemetery in West Valley.
