Obituary for Donald "Grumpy" G. Breedlove
Donald "Grumpy" G. Breedlove of Salamanca, NY passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in his residence at the age of 58.
He was born April 12, 1965 in Lackawanna, NY a son of the late Bobbie and Shirley (Riley) Breedlove. He was a store clerk for Dollar Tree in Salamanca, and in his free time he enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, playing video games with his family, going on sight-seeing road trips, and fishing.
He is survived by his life-long partner, Charlene Tyger. Don had known Charlene her entire life, he was even there the day she was brought home from the hospital after being born. He is also survived by his children: Darlene (Jeff Rossman) Tyger of Salamanca, Samantha (Justin) Tyger of Salamanca, Jacob "Jake" (Harmonie) Tyger-Breedlove of Salamanca, and Dalton Tyger-Breedlove of Salamanca; siblings: Kelly (Maureen) Breedlove of WV, and Mathew (Kathy) Breedlove of KY; grandchildren: Jesse Goodremote, Koby Tyger-France, Naomi Blea, Beau-Dean Rossman, and Myralene-May Rossman; brother-in-laws: Jay Deveau of Buffalo, and Paul Carroll of FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Katie Deveau and Dixie Carroll.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 1-3pm followed by a Funeral service at 3pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St. Springville, NY.
