Obituary for Donna J. Moroge
Donna J. Moroge of Springville, NY passed away at her daughter's home on April 1, 2022, just one day shy of her 75th birthday.
Donna was born to Robert E. Barthel and Elizabeth J. Barthel (Marble) in 1947. The life of Donna was celebrated by three beautiful children - John, Sherry, and Krista. She worked hard to put herself through nursing school while raising a family. Donna worked for many years at Mercy Hospital, Bertrand Chaffee Hospital and Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home and was known by all as a compassionate and caring nurse.
Family was her heart and soul. Donna is survived and loved by her companion of many years, Joe Perrington; daughter: Sherry Bemb (Tim); sisters: Gloria Gilbert (late James), and Carol Hebden (Jon); seven grandchildren (Cory, Joshua, Alisha, Jesse, Jacob, Sylena and Kyle) and five great-grandchildren (Mikayla, Gibson, Hunter, Giovanni, and Aspen), and many extended family members who also loved her. She will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Barthel; children: John D. Moroge Jr., and Krista L. Moroge-Beutler, and brother-in-law, James B. Gilbert.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Springville on April 23, 2022 at 11AM.
