Obituary for Donna L. Murphy
Donna L. Murphy of West Valley, NY passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at her residence at the age of 80.
She was born February 20, 1942 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Albert and Luella (Weltjen) Barkewitz. She was a member of the St. Aloysius Church in Springville and she loved to knit and read.
Donna was a Nurse Anesthetist for 25+ years for Newfane Hospital.
She is survived by her siblings: Marsha Hurd of West Seneca and Sue Ann DiBianca of Strykersville; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, he is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Murphy and her brother Dale Barkewitz.
Friends may call on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 11am at the St. Aloysius Church, 190 Franklin St., Springville with Rev. Daniel Fawls officiating. Interment will be held in Griffins Mills Cemetery in West Falls.
