Felicia R. "Phyllis" Stein, of Boston, NY passed away October 27, 2022 at her residence at the age of 82.
She was born February 21, 1940 in Lackawanna, NY a daughter of the late Henry and Rita (Kopacz) Zawistowski.
She worked as a Payroll Clerk at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville, NY.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church in Boston, NY. She enjoyed spending her time traveling.
Her husband, Dale K. Stein whom she married May 2, 1960 at St. Luke's in Buffalo, NY passed away August 9, 2016.
She is survived by her children: Lynn Marie (Todd Benkelman) Stein of West Valley, and Gregory (Monica) Stein of Germany; her grandsons: Justin Stein of Pittsburgh, and Bryan (Jackie) Stein of Lancaster; her great-granddaughters: Lexi and Reagan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother - Eugene Zawistowski.
Friends may call Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main Street, Springville, NY 14141. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 6895 Boston Cross Road, Boston, NY 14025. Burial will be held in the Maplewood Cemetery in Boston, NY.
