Obituary for Gerald H. Kroll
Gerald H. Kroll of Springville, NY passed away June 17, 2022 at Mercy Hospital at the age of 85.
He was born October 18, 1936 in Buffalo, New York a son of the late Howard R. and Elizabeth M. (Zuk) Kroll.
Before his retirement he worked at Schichtel's Nursery in Springville. Prior to working there he worked at Union Concrete and Bethlehem Steel. He also did odd jobs around the area. Gerald served in the United States Army from 1954-1957.
He is survived by his children: Larry B. Kroll of East Otto, Laura Horn of Fredonia, Gerald A. Kroll of Springville; his sisters: Shirley (Jack) Newman of Maine, Sally (Butch) Wittmeyer of East Concord and Judy Stump of Niagara Falls; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene Borkowski and son, Martin H. Kroll. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Paul Kroll and Betty Gern.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June, 21, 2022 at 11AM at the Maplewood Cemetery in Springville, NY.
