Jacqueline C. McCarthy of Springville, NY passed away March 16, 2022 at Fiddlers Green Manor at the age of 85.
She was born August 10, 1936 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Ivan and Eileen (Cooper) Sloane.
She worked as a Legal Secretary for Jared Kemsley - Attorney of Law in Springville. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church.
She loved sewing, quilting, knitting and making crafts. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children: Deborah (Joseph) Schweickert of Florida, Jeffery (Marcia) McCarthy of Springville and Cindi Schiffler of Blasdell; her best friend - Sue Burdick. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband - John L. McCarthy whom she married August 13, 1954 at St. Aloysius Church.
Friends may call Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4-7PM at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main Street, Springville. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11AM at St. Aloysius Church, 190 Franklin Street, Springville with Father Daniel Fawls officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Aloysius Cemetery.
