Obituary for Joseph "Joe" L. Doll
Joseph "Joe" L. Doll of West Valley, NY passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY at the age of 70.
He was born May 16, 1953 in Buffalo, a son of the late Leo and Sylvia (Flatt) Doll. He enjoyed going to his cottage, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Borer) Doll, whom he married in 1976 in Buffalo. He is also survived by his children: Kira (Corey Williams) Doll of Syracuse, Kelly (Alex) Swiderski of Kenmore, and Kristine (Marc) Dickinson of Elma; siblings: Dr. Peter (Lillia) Doll of KY, Susan Dimario of VT, and Richard (Kelly) Doll of Tonawanda; grandchildren: Natalie Dickinson, Claire Dickinson, Bennett Dickinson, and Hudson Swiderski; life long friends, Kevin and Susan Doherty of Buffalo; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, David Doll.
There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake of Bays Fire Department, 1012 Dwight Beach Road Dwight, ON P0A 1H0.
