Obituary for Karen F. Emerling
Karen F. Emerling of Blasdell, NY passed away July 19, 2022 after a brief illness at the age of 75.
Preceded in death by her parents Merle and Dorothy (Hopkins) Fluker, brother Ronald and nephews Richard and Brian Fluker.
She is survived by her beloved son Jason, sister Janet (Jim) VanDermeer, former husband and friend Tom, sister-in-law Judy and many nieces, nephews, dear friends and angels who she met along the way.
Karen enjoyed a long career in the medical field, working many years at the Concord Medical Group in Springville and for 25 years with Medical Associates Southtowns. She worked with many fine physicians, nurses and staff.
A Memorial Mass will be held October 6, 2022 at 11am at the St. Aloysius Church, 190 Franklin Street, Springville, NY 14141.
Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
