Obituary for Lois G. Fyock
Lois G. Fyock, of Eden, NY and formerly of Springville, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville at the age of 96.
She was born June 16, 1925 in Templeton, PA a daughter of the late William and Nanny (Rush) McAvoy. She was a member of the Collins Center United Methodist Church, the Gowanda Moose and the Springville and Collins Center Senior Citizens. She also enjoyed traveling.
She was a ward attendant for 30 years at the Gowanda Psychiatric Center.
Her husband, Justin Fyock who she married on November 8, 1941 in Templeton, PA, passed away in 2007.
She is survived by her children: Faye Neureuther of Hamburg and Pamela (Richard) Kosha of Springville; also survived by five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Terry Fyock and her sister, Eulala Summerville.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held in Collins Center Cemetery.
