Obituary for Lori Zielen
Lori Zielen age 61, of West Valley, NY passed away June 9, 2022.
Wife of Thomas Donohue; daughter of Robert and Karen Zielen.
She loved nature, and was generous, kind and compassionate toward all animals throughout her entire lifetime. She dedicated her life to all her babies (cats), which were strays that came to her seeking shelter and someone to take care of them, which she did lovingly.
She was an outspoken defender of all creatures as well as humans. Champion for the welfare of all mistreated animals throughout the world and considered all the wildlife surrounding her home as part of her greater family.
Maintained an extensive collection of house plants and loved to tend to her indoor and outdoor gardens.
A devout convert to Catholicism who eagerly practiced and spread her faith the best she knew how.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, parents, cousins, and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11am at St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church, 12800 Genesee Road, Chaffee, NY 14030. Lori's family respectfully asks that all who attend the Memorial Mass to please wear a mask.
