Obituary for Marcia B. Smith
Marcia B. Smith of Springville, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her residence at the age of 94.
She was born on October 31, 1928 in Silver Creek, NY and was a daughter of the late Norman and Evelyn (Ehmke) Bie. She was a member of the Springville United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening. She was also a member of the Springville Habitat for Humanity and the Twentieth Century Club.
Marcia was a teacher for 48 years at Springville Griffith Institute.
She is survived by her sons: Richard (Marjorie) Smith of Farmersville Station and Jeffrey Smith of Springville; also survived by two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Suzanne Russell and William Carson Bie.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
