Obituary for Mark J. Krezmien
Mark J. Krezmien of Springville, NY passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in his residence at the age of 87.
He was born January 30, 1936 in Springville, NY a son of the late Stanislav and Sophie (Guzzy) Krezmien. He was an Aircraft Mechanic for US Air in Buffalo. He was also a US Navy Veteran serving from 1954-1958 and an Air Force Veteran serving from 1961-1964. In his free time, he enjoyed flying, playing golf, and inspecting airplanes. Additionally, he enjoyed dancing, and giving out hugs to family and friends. He was also a member of St. Aloysius Church in Springville.
He is survived by his children: Greg (Jackie) Krezmien of Lebanon, PA, Gerald Krezmien of Springville, Brian (Marcela) Krezmien of Springville, and Anne Marie Charvat of Lancaster, NY; grandchildren: Ashley, Heather, Erik, Lucas, Tim, Abbigail, Molly, Aubrey and Gabby; great-grandson, Yianni; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Norma (Sherman) Krezmien, whom he married November 3, 1962 in Ellicottville, NY. She passed away August 14, 2011. He is also predeceased by his siblings: Lawrence Krezmien, Stanley Krezmien, Francis Krezmien, Marie Mcintosh, Charles Krezmien, and Thomas Krezmien.
There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 10AM at St. Aloysius Church, 190 Franklin St., Springville with Rev. Daniel Fawls officiating. Final interment will be held in the St. Aloysius Cemetery in Springville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Buffalo, NY 14227 or to the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, 222 E. Main St., Springville, NY 14141
