Obituary for Maureen M. Landsiedel
Maureen M. (Mannion) Landsiedel of Springville, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 in her residence at the age of 86.
She was born July 8, 1937 in Carbondale, PA a daughter of the late John and Helen (Schermerhorn) Mannion. She was a Nurse's Aide for NYS Group Homes, and enjoyed history, herb gardening, traveling, and listening to Irish music. She was also a member of the East Otto Preservation Society, where she helped repurpose an old schoolhouse and turned it into the E. Otto Town Hall.
She is survived by her children: Bill (Candace) Landsiedel of Arcade, and Rose (Dan) Landsiedel-Ahrens of Springville; sisters: Janet (Ken) Grover of Montana, and Ruth (late Roy) Myley of Carbondale, PA; grandchildren: Jane, Declan, and Christian; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Tim Landsiedel.
There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
