Obituary for Myrtle E. Wollschlager
Myrtle E. (Ricketts) Wollschlager of Springville, NY passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home in Springville at the age of 84.
She was born July 28, 1938 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (St. James) Ricketts. She was a computer operator for UPS in West Seneca for most of her life. She loved the Buffalo Sabres, listening to music, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She also enjoyed making "plarn" with Nina for the Sleeping Bag Project, and she attended the Springville Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her children: Roy (Debbi) Wollschlager of Bucyrus, OH, Janice (Timothy) Domes of Springville, Nancy (James) McClain of Hudson, OH, Dawn Wollschlager of Greenwood, AR, and Holly (Tim) Taylor of East Concord, NY; as well as 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four nieces, and five nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wollschlager, whom she married May 18, 1957 in Buffalo.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St. Springville, where a Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Keith Clark officiating. Final interment will be held in the East Concord Cemetery.
