Obituary for O. Frederick "Fred" Hofmann
O. Frederick "Fred" Hofmann of Springville, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the age of 90.
He was born on March 25, 1933 in Springville and was a son of the late Karl and Frida (Kuebler) Hofmann. He was a United States Army Korean War Veteran and served from 1953-1955. He owned and operated the Hofmann Potato Farm in Springville and enjoyed spending time with his family.
His wife, Joann (Wurstner) Hofmann, whom he married on April 8, 1961, passed away on December 27, 2018.
Fred is survived by his children: Karl (Rebecca) Hofmann of Springville, David (Tim Hug) Hofmann of Cathedral City, CA and Dan Hofmann of Springville; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by his brother, Walter Hofmann.
There will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10am at Maplewood Cemetery in Springville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14227.
