Obituary for Paul W. Marsh
Paul Wendel Marsh of Springville, NY passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville at the age of 92.
He was born March 17, 1930 in Brodhead, WI a son of the late Arbor and Louisa (Pinnow) Marsh. He was a United States Army Korean War Veteran and served from 1951-1952 and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Angola.
He was a Development Specialist for Cotter and Company in Cleveland, OH until he retired in 1995. He was also a manager at W.T. Grant Stores at 21 locations across the mid-west.
Paul is survived by his wife, Yvonne (Williamson) Marsh whom he married May 9, 1951 in Farmington, WI; his children: Barbara Bernatek of Oslo, Norway, Robert Marsh of Springville, Richard (Cindy) Marsh of Hamburg and Steven (Karen) Marsh of Maryland; his grandchildren: Elizabeth, Kathryn, Katrina and Rachael Marsh, Andres Bernatek, Marte (John) Gartland and Elin Bernatek; his great-grandchildren: Johanes, Marianne and Annika; also survived by many family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St., Springville, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Alex Knowles officiating. Interment will be held in Maplewood Cemetery in Springville.
