Obituary for Richard W. King Jr.
Richard W. King Jr. of Cathedral City, CA, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Eisenhower Health in CA at the age of 95.
He was born July 25, 1927 in Dansville, NY a son of the late Richard and Era (Roche) King Sr. He was an Engineer for Raytheon Technologies in Andover, MA. He enjoyed gardening and doing home repairs, and was also a US Marines Veteran serving from 1944-1946.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (Marland) King, whom he married March 19, 1982 in Las Vegas. He is also survived by his children: Olend (Ada) King of Nicaragua, Conrad King of CA, and Eric (April) King of CA; brother, Edward King of MI; grandchildren: Ariel, Richard, Lindsay, Lauren, Katie, and Kristopher; his previous wife, Elizabeth King of CA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his children: Darryl and Kathy King; and brother, Tom King.
There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Final interment will be held in Maplewood Cemetery in Springville, NY.
