Obituary for Rita W. Hayden
Rita W. (Tebo) Hayden of Springville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 82.
She was born November 12, 1940 in Eden, NY, a daughter of the late William and Rita (Fuller) Tebo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and pets. She was also a wolf enthusiast, loved to crochet and reading romance novels, and she was a member of St. Aloysius Church and past member of the Springville Moose Lodge #1249.
She is survived by her children: Cecelia (late James) Ivon of Orchard Park, Lou Ann (Mark McCarthy) Hamm of Springville, Judith (James) Heary of Springville, Deneen (Robert) Garlock of Springville, William Hayden of Buffalo, and Christopher (Ronald) Mammoser of Eden; siblings: Susan Borst of Springville, Judith (Gerald) Dewitt of Frewsburg, NY, and Clarence Diebold of Springville; grandchildren: James, Thomas, Nicholas Sr., Jeremy, Ashley, Chantel, Nathan, Megan, Amber, Melissa, Thomas, Eric, Natia, Jamichel, and Jay R.; as well as many great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, John Hamm, who passed June 23, 1961. She is also predeceased by her second husband, Robert Hayden, whom she married June 19, 1964 and he passed away May 21, 2001; grandson, Robert Garlock Jr.; and great-granddaughters: Nora Terry Berry and Angelica Ivon.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 at 2PM at St. Aloysius Church in Springville with Father Daniel Fawls officiating. Final interment will take place in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
