Roy E. Hansen of West Valley, NY passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his residence at the age of 73.

He was born December 27, 1949 in Springville, NY a son of the late Carl and Clara (Ziecker) Hansen.

Roy spent his life working on the Dairy Farm that he owned and operated with his brother, Kenny.

Roy was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Springville, NY.

He is survived by his siblings: Donald (Carol) Hansen of West Valley, Shirley (late Walter) Niefergold of North Collins, Grace (Bert) Steff of East Concord, Betty (Jim) McMahan of South Carolina, Kenny Hansen of West Valley, Joanne Hansen of West Valley, Maryann (Tom) Nunweiler of East Concord and David (Paula) Hansen of West Valley. Roy is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on January 28, 2023 at 11AM at the Salem Lutheran Church, 91 W Main St, Springville, NY 14141, with Rev. Eric Goodwin officiating.
