Obituary for Steve W. Bugary
Steve W. Bugary of Springville, NY passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at his residence at the age of 48.
He was born September 11, 1974 in Buffalo, a son of Sandra (Piersa) Stange and the late Frederick Stange. He was the Chief of Morton's Corners Fire Department for several years and enjoyed hunting.
He was a communications center supervisor for Mercy Flight in Buffalo
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Christine (Brooks) Bugary, whom he married May 25, 1996 in Concord, NY. He is also survived by his son, Joseph Bugary of Springville; his sister, Sherry (Mike) Wekenmann of East Amherst and several nieces and nephews. He was also a father figure for 15+ other children.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 2pm-9pm at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St. Springville, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Gentry Osborne officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Center Cemetery.
