Obituary for William F. Proctor
William F. "Bill" Proctor of Springville, NY passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital at the age of 92.
He was born May 1, 1929 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late William Nathaniel and Frances (Achmann) Proctor.
He worked as a Pharmacist for 30+ years at the Concord Medical Group and a number of pharmacies in the surrounding area. He also served in the US Army as a Sergeant in the Korean War.
He is survived by his son: Randall (John Vardas) Proctor; his step-daughter: Sandra (James) Anzalone; his grandchildren: N. Duncan (Catherine) Proctor, C. Justin (Marisol Mata) Proctor; step-grandchildren: Jessica (Jason) Fleischman, Rachel (Rocky Sanchez) Anzalone, Timothy (Nevi) Anzalone. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren: Maximus and Sylvia Proctor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son - W. Christopher Proctor, and brothers: Edward and Bruce Proctor and infant.
Friends may call Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 2-4PM & 6-8PM at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home, 271 E. Main St. Springville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11AM at St. George's Church, 74 Old Glenwood Road, West Falls, NY 14170, with Rev. Paul Nogaro officiating.
At the request of the family, masks will be required to attend. Burial will be held in the St. Aloysius Cemetery.
